Teacher
Muhammed Nizaar ibn Suliman Gardee
My experience as a tutor and teacher of math and natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology/life sciences) is as follows: nearly 2 years as a teacher teaching high school and primary math and science in Canada – 5.5 years part-time as a tutor (10-20 hours per week averaging about 15 hours) for Grades 8 to 12 (matric) in math, physics, chemistry, and life sciences/biology.
My experience is enhanced by actual experience in Laboratory Organic Chemistry and Laboratory Entomology and Parataxonomy – and I put this to practical use in tuition by explaining real-life scenarios to put skills into an actual work context for the student.
Life journey
My life has been a highly eclectic one: I have gone on a crazy path that has spanned three continents: Northern Sweden in Europe (5 years), Southeastern Ontario in Canada (21 years – broken up), and now South Africa (26 years – broken up). In this time I have undergone university training, Islamic education, been a high school and primary school teacher, and worked in academic chemistry, ecology, and agricultural research contexts.
Now, a part of paying forward what has been given to me is my teaching youth life skills in Math, Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry), and Life Science/Biology: I am a high school tutor.
More about me
I like to spend time with my family on outings and enjoying the beautiful sights and vistas that we have where we live. I also enjoy watching sports, hiking, and enjoy good food, good company, good conversation, practicing multilingualism, spiritual reading and contemplation, spiritual meditation, and intercultural exchange.
